Great Chebeague Golf Club members have great affection for their nine-hole course. Asked what they like about it, some will say it's unique. After all, there are not many course anywhere that require golfers to hit over a public road four times. Others will note its beauty, demanding proudly that you name another course that features ocean views from each hole. Others will say, despite its short yardage, the course is challenging and then will cite their favorite nemesis – whether the 5th, 7th or another hole they find particularly vexing.
